Ceres Policy Research Case Study

CERES Policy Research

BRIEF: CERES Policy Research advances youth and community well-being through strategic research and planning. We were brought on to lead the rebranding strategy. The process consisted of a new logo, Brand Guide, and Website creation. We wanted to establish a new visual identity that would later be used to enhance social media engagement, digital assets, data report designs, and potential client outcomes.

CHALLENGES: The unique and sensitive task of threading the needle on how to appeal to their top two audiences was a challenge we were happy to navigate through. CERES’ top two audiences being community justice advocates and local government agencies who can sometimes be seen as being at odds with each other. The research that CERES provides for these two groups needed to present imagery, language, and perspectives that found commonalities and solutions to both sides’ needs.

GOALS: The main objectives of this work were to establish a new brand identity through visual imagery that would fall in between a personal and organic community-based audience and a traditional governmental audience. These new brand elements would help to drive more website traffic and social media engagement.
